PNCR Polymer-Based Dry Denitrification Technology

Working Principle

PNCR technology (dry injection) involves uniformly spraying a solid denitrification reductant into the appropriate temperature window (600–900°C) of furnace flue gas without catalysts. The reductant rapidly decomposes and reacts with NOx to form N₂ and H₂O, with minimal interaction with oxygen. This complies with China’s HJ 563-2010 Technical Specification for Flue Gas Denitrification Engineering of Thermal Power Plants — Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction.


Mechanism:

Between 600–900°C, polymer-based dry powder reductant is injected into the furnace. Activated by high temperatures, it gasifies and reacts with NOx to generate N₂, H₂O, or minimal CO₂, achieving NOx removal and compliance with emission standards.
