A new material company in Jiangsu faced complaints from residents due to the visible smoke and long trailing plume emitted from the chimney of its hazardous solid waste treatment workshop's incinerator. The company urgently needed an effective solution to address the environmental impact and regulatory pressure caused by the flue gas emissions from the hazardous solid waste incineration process.
Cooperation Process
After receiving the project, Bolaida quickly organized a professional team to conduct on-site investigations and analyses. Targeting the issue of visible smoke and long trailing plume from the chimney, Bolaida proposed an innovative solution. Firstly, a wind-cooled heat exchanger was used to reduce the flue gas temperature to 45°C, removing a portion of the moisture.
Subsequently, the flue gas passed through a two-stage low-energy-consumption ion beam flue gas de-whitening device, where the majority of moisture, fine dust, acid mist, and odorous substances in the flue gas were removed under the action of high-voltage and high-frequency electric fields. Finally, the purified flue gas was emitted smoke-free from the chimney, effectively resolving the environmental challenges faced by the company.
Solutions and Customer Feedback
Bolaida adopted a combination of cooling condensation and low-energy-consumption ion beam flue gas de-whitening process for this project. This process not only effectively reduced the flue gas temperature but also deeply treated pollutants in the flue gas through a two-stage ion beam device, ensuring that the emitted flue gas was free of visible white smoke.
After the treatment, rigorous testing and operational verification confirmed that the particulate matter content was reduced from 200mg/Nm³ to less than 10mg/Nm³, fully complying with environmental protection requirements. The customer was highly satisfied with Bolaida's solution, praising its efficiency and reliability. The solution not only resolved the environmental issues but also enhanced the company's environmental image and reduced complaints from surrounding residents.
