Medium-Low Temperature SCR Denitrification Process

Technology Introduction

Conventional SNCR in-furnace denitrification faces emission instability due to temperature fluctuations and low efficiency, making ultra-low emissions challenging. The medium-low temperature SCR process stabilizes denitrification efficiency above 95% at >150°C with optimized catalysts, achieving NOx ≤30mg/m³. Bolaida’s solution adds safety, energy efficiency, and waste heat recovery for reliable, high-performance emission control.

Medium-Low Temperature SCR Denitrification Principle

NOx in flue gas reacts with ammonia (NH3) over a catalyst to form harmless nitrogen (N2).
4NO + 4NH3 + O2 → 3N2 + 6H2O
NO + NO2 + 2NH3 → 3H2O + 2N2
6NO + 4NH3 → 5N2 + 6H2O
The SCR catalyst is optimized for medium-low temperatures, with an ideal reaction range of 150°C-300°C.
